Progress has a policy to offer a number of scholarships to the deserving students. Students wishing for a scholarship should apply with testimonials. There are several scholarship schemes:
Progress National Merit Scholarship (PNMS)
Scheme : Absolutely free education including hostel and study materials.
Criteria : SLC Board toppers (first 5)
Seats : 5 (Science, Management and Humanities)
Full scholarship on Tuition Fees
Scheme : Security deposit and Registration fees are charged.
Criteria : Students securing more than 85% marks in SLC
Seats : 01 (Science), 01 (Management), 01 (Humanities)
100% scholarship on Tuition Fees
Scheme : Tuition fee is not charged.
Criteria : Students securing more than 85% marks in SLC.
Seat's : 02 (Science), 01 (Management), 01 (Humanities)
50% scholarship on Tuition Fees
Scheme : 50% subsidy In Tuition fee is charged.
Criteria : Students securing more than 80% marks in SLC.
Seats : 03 (Science), 02 (Management), 01 (Humanities)
25% scholarship on Tuition Fees
Scheme: 25% subsidy in Tuition fee is given.
Criteria: Students securing more than 75% marks in SLC.
Seats : 05 (Science), 03 (Management), 02 (Humanities)
10-100% scholarship In tuition fees
Needy or physically impaired students can get other need-based scholarship. It is eligible for those students who have poor family-economic status, internal migrants from remote part of Nepal or son/daughter of martyr, etc. Management board decides it.

Scholarships are provided per academic year based on SLC result & Entrance Examination (Class XI) and Pre-Board Examination & Board Examination (Class XII).

Students securing more than 90% marks in entrance exam (12)

50% Scholarship on Tution Fees

Students securing more than 85% marks in Entrance Exam(12)

25% Scholarship on Tution Fees

Students securing more than 80%marks in Entrance Exam (6)

The Entrance Exam carries 120 marks with Science, Mathematics, English and GK based IQ (for Science stream) and 100 marks with Mathematics, English and General Knowledge (for Humanities and Management stream).
